Lauren "Ren" Tysinger, LMBT #14715

Lauren “Ren” Tysinger (they/them) is a dedicated licensed massage therapist with ten years of diverse experience in the industry, from franchises to private practices and spa administration. Ren began their journey into bodywork at Naropa University, the only accredited Buddhist college in America, where they earned a degree in Traditional Eastern Arts with a focus on Tai Chi, initially planning to pursue acupuncture. However, their path took a beautiful turn when they discovered a passion for massage therapy at the Body Therapy Institute.

Ren specializes in creating a warm and welcoming space for clients who may find touch challenging, offering intentional and compassionate bodywork. Their extensive range of modalities — including ashiatsu, lymphatic drainage, TMJ intra-oral, reflexology, sound therapy, and myofascial work — allows them to tailor each session to meet the unique needs of every client. While they often employ deep tissue techniques to release deep-seated muscular and emotional patterns, Ren also embraces the healing power of relaxation, trusting in the body’s natural ability to heal.

In a previous life, Ren worked in programming and development, complemented by a background in dance and gymnastics. Outside of work, Ren enjoys tinkering with circuit boards and training their lively pet parrot.

Laura Canfield, NCLMBT #22701

Laura is a recent graduate and a newly licensed Massage Therapist. This new career passion was born out of wanting to help her husband with his chronic back pain. During her education, she found a love and respect of how the muscles move our bodies and all the ways that massage is able to assist our bodies, minds, and spirits in feeling our best.

Laura's massage style includes grounding through deep breathing, an intuitive and calming touch, and specialized pressure based on individual needs. Her goal is to have you Relaxed, Rejuvinated, Rested and Ready to book your next session.

Laura's long-term passion and current main job is teaching preschool.  She has been teaching off and on for the majority of her adult life. The running joke in Laura's house is that she finally graduated from molding playdough to molding muscles! Woohoo!

In her spare time, Laura loves spending time with her family (hubby, 3 amazing children, and pets), playing games, watching movies, doing puzzles, and reading.
